Summary
When a drive is password-protected, the data cannot be accessed unless the right password is entered. Solidigm™ (formerly Intel®) does not have a way to recover the password. In scenarios where the password was forgotten, the following recommendations can be tried to unlock the drive. However, the data will be lost.
Contact the system vendor or the developer of the application originally used to enable password protection. They may have specific password recovery steps.
Perform a low-level format to erase all data in the drive. This might unlock the drive and set it into factory state allowing you to access the drive again. However, all data will be lost.
